Whether the mat sequence is Prescribed Series (the Series in the order Joseph Pilates dictated) or free-form, Pilates Mat is an awesome foundation for your strength and posture. The habits you develop are transferrable to any class you take and into daily life. The core is activated and organized before each movement so that movement is generated starting at the core, then onto the limbs.
